Get your literary self in gear this new year with BookFind’s Top Ten Bookish Resolutions. (Thanks Shelf Awareness!) A bit ambitious for me, but I’ll try some of them out. And, I totally disagree with the first one: There are so many books out there, why waste your time on one that you’re not enjoying? I struggle with this often. You’re not necessarily saying it’s not a good book, you just feel that it’s not right for you at this time. I believe timing has A LOT to with books. A lot. What about you?
I’ve been book paging things for a while. Today I made a set of READ letters for a dear bookseller friend and his wife. They own Books Inc. in California. I think they’re really going to like them.
My book paging has found its way onto boxes, file sorters, light switches, Christmas ornaments, clipboards, flower pots — basically whatever I can get my hands on. Next in line: some piece of furniture. Maybe a stool? Front of a drawer on an end table? Ideas are always welcome.
I’ve spent a lot of time on Pinterest. Especially collecting bookish things. I have close to 500 pins on this board. Shh, don’t tell the husband.
